About The Building


Former Quaker Meeting House (built in 1716).

Originally a 1 story tall gable roofed structure, reconstructed in 1815 following the Great Gale of 1815.

Repaired in 1875 and converted into a restaurant in 1929.

Since then, it was Dougan’s, Fiddler’s Green, and Rocky Point Pizza and Pub.

The renovation took nearly 8 months from start to finish from mid April until mid December 2015.

The building features new HVAC, new electrical and plumbing, (3) Expanded Handicapped ADA accessible bathrooms, a state of the art kitchen with brand new equipment, and small retail store in addition to the restaurant.

Reclaimed wood from the original 1800s structure has been reused and purposed in the renovated building. The wood is featured in a custom built wine cabinet as well as the wall tops in the main dining room.

An Italian made Valoriani oven was imported from Italy and installed, it features a custom firebrick deck, a commercial modular dome, and spitfire gas burner to help enable the perfect cooking environment for authentic Italian pizza.
